1. What we collect

When you use the phone locator tool, we process the phone number you submit for the duration of the lookup request. We do not store submitted numbers after the result is returned. Server logs retain anonymised request metadata (timestamp, country of origin, user agent) for 30 days to detect abuse and keep the service running.

2. Cookies and analytics

The site uses functional cookies for language preference and session state. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you grant consent through the cookie banner. See our cookie policy for the full list.

3. Third-party services

We use Cloudflare for content delivery and DDoS protection. Map tiles are served from MapLibre-compatible providers. None of these providers receive personally identifiable information from this site.

4. Your GDPR rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data. Contact us at the email listed on the contact page to exercise these rights. We respond within 30 days.

5. Children

FatGPS is not directed at users under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Parents who discover that their child has used the service can contact us to have any associated data removed.

6. Changes to this policy

We revise this document when the service changes. Material updates are announced on the homepage and in the site footer. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
